Fall is in the air & so is the desire for warm, comforting drinks. Nothing is a better pick-me-up than a warm cup o’ joe when the weather starts to change. However, I prefer warm drinks over cold drinks so it’s not out of the norm for me to be sippin’ on an Americano in 90 degree weather.
I’ve tried out a couple new coffee shops to get me take me out of my normal go-to homework spot at my local Starbucks. PS- Medium Roast with 2 pumps pumpkin syrup and 2% milk tastes like a pumpkin spice latte for half the price. $$$$ SCORE $$$$
Hands down one of the most friendliest coffee shops I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. The people there are so welcoming and genuine. It’s cozy, it’s quaint, the service is spectacular and their white mochas are the bomb dot com. If you’re hungry I also recommend an everything bagel with basil pesto. I’m a pesto freak and their recipe has my taste buds doing a happy dance.
This artsy coffee shop off of 6 Ave. & Washington in Denver is a hip & happening place in the mornings. It was crowded, but not uncomfortable. A huge variety of people from businessmen, to mothers, to students typing away on their Mac’s were gathered in this eclectic little cafe. I ordered a vanilla latte and it was as delicious as ever. Their espresso was very distinct and the latte was perfectly sweet. I think my favorite thing about this place though was the LATTE ART.

There are a few more local gems I’ve experienced lately… and plan on doing an update of this list in the near future!
