Let’s talk about stretching.
Anyone else in love with their foam roller?
I AM! It hurts like a mother but at the same time feels sooooo good. I try to foam roll every so often, and when I do I use this chart below.
However, this month I am making it a point to foam roll and have a nice streeeeettttch session twice a week. I think this will improve my workouts and overall well-being because I tend to feel tense and anxious when I don’t make time for stretching in my routine. ‘ hoping it will loosen up those nasty ol’ IT bands that give me so much trouble.
What else is in store for January? Trying to form habits that will improve my overall health and attitude:
- foam roll/ stretch 2x week
- take my vitamins (D, B-Complex and Multi) everyday
- “un-plug” from technology more often
- read the 3rd Harry Potter book. (So apparently I missed out on a key part of my generation’s childhood by not reading the HP books. Oh well. I’m catching up now 🙂 )
