I love starting my mornings with a good breakfast, and most of the time that means oatmeal! It’s quick, filling and delicious!
This morning began with one of my favorites, choco-nana whipped oats.
On medium heat, into the pot goes:
- 1/2 oats
- 1/2 coconut milk (you can use the milk of your choice)
- 1/2 banana, thinly sliced
Wait until this concoction starts to bubble, and then take a whisk and “whip” the bananas in to the oats. Then, let the mixture thicken for about 1-2 more minutes on low heat.
After putting the oats into your bowl, add about 5 (or more;) ) semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Feel free to add coconut, cereal or granola into your choco-nana oats!
This goes delicious with a nice hot cup of coffee!
