Good morning, world!
Tuesday morning was extremely special. & not just because I got Starbucks.
On a seperate note: If you order a Cafe Misto & add 2 pumps of pumpkin spice syrup it tastes like a less-sweet version of a pumpkin spice latte. And is SO MUCH CHEAPER. Thanks for the tip, Kathryn. 🙂
Okay. Back to business. As you may know, I’m a rep for an awesome organization called Headbands of Hope. I wrote a blog post a while ago explaining all the wonderful things that HOH does, but if you are new to these parts I’ll keep it short and sweet.
Headbands of Hope sells headbands. For every headband sold, one headbands gets donated to a little girl fighting cancer and $1 is donated to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to help fund life-saving childhood cancer research.
On Tuesday, my fellow rep and best friend Kirstin, and I made the first donation of headbands in Colorado to Children’s Hospital Colorado. That’s right, our brave Rocky Mountain chickies in oncology are now rocking their very own Headband of Hope!
We weren’t allowed to personally deliver the headbands to the girls due to the risk of outside infection, but it was still so eye-opening to step foot inside those doors.
I couldn’t even imagine knowing that your baby is in their fighting for her life. It was truly a blessing to be able to give these girls a little bit of hope– a little bit of a brighter day.
I’m so happy to be a part of something so special.
As always, if you want to purchase your own headband & help create moments like this, you can find them at the Headbands of Hope website. Using my promo code lucerohope will get you $1 off.
Hug your loved ones today 🙂
** If you are interested in featuring Headbands of Hope on your blog for a giveaway/review, shoot me an email and we will see if it is a good fit.**
