Hayyoooo. Woah has it been a busy day! I’m just now sitting down to blog. Let’s chat.
This weekend was SUPER fun. I didn’t get any work done, but plan to be extra productive this week because…
Friday I leave for the Healthy Living Summit!!!!
I’m taking an early flight out to The Twin Cities and won’t be returning until Sunday, when my brain is full of new blog information and my heart is bursting with new blog friend love. Speaking of, I better get to packing soon. Eek! I’m so excited!
I started off my day on Friday by attempting a 6-mile run in the BLISTERING HEAT. Holy smokes, you guys. This run was miserable. I’m pretty sure my sweat evaporated before I could even feel it. AND I went through an entire CamelBak during those 6 miles. AN ENTIRE CAMELBAK, PEOPLE. I went to CrossFit later that afternoon. Little did I know we were going to be running MORE. 100 meter sprints in 95 degree weather. Did Colorado suddenly turn into the Sahara?
This week it’s supposed to be a lot cooler (I love Fall!) and thus my runs should be much more enjoyable. Woop woop!
Saturday I spent the day at my boyfriend’s first football game of the season. Fall Saturdays spent watching him with good friends is pure bliss. I’m so excited the season has started!
(Stole this from their Twitter page, muahaha)
They won 72-6. ROCK ON. We celebrated with pizza at Woody’s (the BEST pizza in Golden!) and then went home to get ready for a wedding!
We cried, we laughed, we danced, we had a really really really good time. See this video if you don’t know what I’m referencing.
Can’t take us anywhere!
Now that you are caught up on this weekend, let’s recap today’s events. It’s ground breaking stuff, people. Groundbreaking.
1. Swam a mile.
2. ate oatmeal
3. School. Boring.
4. Ate again.
5. Took a much needed nap.
6. Freelance work.
7.CrossFit. Kettlbell swings suck butt.
8. Made a delicious chicken parmesean dinner.
Because I’m sure you all really cared to know all of that, I’ll throw in something exciting.
It’s lightening like a mofo over here and my heart is skipping a beat every time. It keeps making all the car alarms go off!
& I just learned you shouldn’t shower while it’s lightening. Huh, who would’ve thought. All these years I’ve just been being a straight up rebel.
Well, it’s time for this Grandma to hit the hay! Goodnight, world!
- What weather scares the pants off of you?
- Tell me something that you did today, but it has to be more exciting than mine 🙂
