I eat oatmeal all day er’day. Okay, not all day. Mostly at breakfast. Sometimes for brinner. I don’t discriminate against breakfast foods in the evening.
Hands down, my favorite type of oatmeal is plain, rolled oats with frozen mixed berries — microwaved until the berries are syrupy and deeeelicious. Top with some shredded coconut and BAM… You’ve got my go-to breakfast.
When Fit Approach reached out to me and asked if I’d be interested in reviewing a bag of healthy oatmeal from myoatmeal.com — that I GOT TO CREATE –I jumped right on the wagon.
There are SO many options to choose from when creating your own unique bag of oats. I’m talking tons of different fruits, nuts, flavorings and add-ins.
My creation included:
- rolled oats
- dried cherries
- turkish apricots
- flax seed
- chipped coconut
- cherry cobbler flavoring
- graham cracker flavoring
- brown sugar
Super delicious! Typically, I’m not a fan of flavoring in my oatmeal, but the cherry cobler + graham cracker was SO YUMMY.
They also have a key lime pie flavor that I think would be great with coconut, almonds and some dried fruit! MMM.
