Ever since my ultra, I decided to take a break from running “for a reason” and back to running for fun. That means my life has been filled with short, don’t-care-about-mileage runs in between CrossFit and all of the other crazy, daily life tasks. I have a ton of fun training for races, and accomplishing those goals make one happy chica. However, sometimes it’s nice to just hit the breaks and shift your focus onto something new for a while.
If you’ve followed this blog for the past couple of years, you’ve seen me transition from being running focused, to CrossFit focused and back again. The past two years have been full of BIG goals for me, so shifting priorities depending on what was coming up was necessary.
I’ve definitely found a love for both CrossFit and all things outdoors, and try to balance all of the activities that make me happy in my day-to-day life. Right now, I’m having so much fun at CrossFit that that’s what I choosing to spend my freetime doing. Who says you can only like ONE thing, amiright?
Anywho, I still enjoy those short-but-sweet runs that I’ve been getting in. Even though I’ve been doing a lot of them without music, this playlist has been my JAM for when I need some tunes to hit the pavement with.
